The first step in the grading selection of hardwood floorings is the very same as a carpenter's when starting a new project. The carpenter chooses the parts of raw wood with similar colour, grain texture and frequency of knots. For instance, knotty and flame-patterned strips are preferably not placed side by side in the same hardwood flooring board. Scandinavian Sylvan has already made this selection for you.
